A short overview of my academic background and research focus.
I am an Associate Professor (habilitated) in the Department of Automation and Information Technology at Transilvania University of Brașov, where I have been a faculty member since 2009. I hold a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering (2013) and a Dipl.-Eng. degree in Control Engineering and Computer Science (2009), both from Transilvania University of Brașov.
My teaching and research activity centers on robotics, computer vision, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and 3D volumetric reconstruction. I teach several bachelor's and master's courses, coordinate bachelor thesis projects every year, and supervise PhD research in my areas of expertise. Alongside my academic role, I work as a software engineer and project manager in the Driver Assistance domain at Elektrobit Automotive Romania.
